Flint River Technical College and Columbus Technical College have entered into a collaboration in which the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is offered on the Flint River Technical College campus. The agreement between the colleges will benefit the regional healthcare providers and utilize state resources in an efficient manner for maximum results.

Anyone interested may qualify for the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program to enhance their careers, achieve professional goals and advance professionally. This program will enable LPNs through the bridge to use their wide range of experiences to climb the career ladder. In the ADN program, students will have the opportunity to learn in classroom, lab and hospital settings that have the most modern equipment and the latest technology.

Competitive admission is determined through a student’s GPA, COMPASS test scores in Reading and Writing, the score from the Pre-NLN, or the ACE I exams, and an interview.

The deadline for submission of the letter of intent is March 1st of each year with completion of testing, receipt for background check application, and verification of work experience if applying for the LPN-ADN Bridge Program. Prerequisite courses must be completed by the end of the spring quarter following the March 1st deadline.

Georgia residents enrolling in programs that are eligible for the HOPE Grant or HOPE Scholarship will receive state funds that pay tuition, registration and activity fees, and a book allowance of $50 or $100.
